南昌理工学院法学院开设一个本科专业（法学）、一个专科专业（法律事务）；自2016年开始，获准与华东交通大学联合培养法学硕士研究生；法学专业系学校的一个重点建设专业。
国际关系学院法学院建立于2003年，2020年改建法学院，以满足国家涉外发展战略的法律需求、服务政法工作为专业定位。目前法学院已经发展成为专精兼备、特色鲜明的一流法学专业院系，2006年获批北京市第一批法学特色专业建设点，2008年获批国家特色专业建设点，2019年获批国家级一流本科专业建设点。目前招收国际关系与国际法、国家安全法治两个专业方向的学术硕士以及法律硕士（法学与非法学）研究生。
