据美国趣味科学网站2014年1月3日（北京时间）报道，美国费米国家加速器实验室的科学家宣称，他们首次观察到了粲夸克（charm quark）衰变成其反粒子（反粲夸克）现象。1974年，科学家首次预测了这种名叫“混合”的现象，但至今实验室未观察到。科学家们表示，最新实验不仅有助于回答为什么宇宙由物质组成这个问题，而且，也有可能找到新粒子存在的证据。研究发表在最近出版的《物理评论快报》上。
