分析了南方电网的送入直流及相关重要500 kV线路N-2故障，提出了省、网间协调优化的原则和建议，制定了广东500 kV电网安全稳定控制方案：广东电网安稳控制系统仅通过广东罗洞主站接受南网罗洞主站发送的切负荷命令，与南方电网其余的通信断开备用，并采取快速切除元件、改变运行方式等措施，以实现了三道防线间的优化配合。该方案简洁有效，且易于运行。

以2009年广东电网夏季大方式及小方式数据为基础，研究了广东电网内的弱阻尼振荡模式，对重要地区机组的PSS投、退进行了灵敏度分析，揭示了广东电网内动态稳定性薄弱的地区，优化了广蓄B厂机组PSS增益定值，另外，采用综合负荷模型，对广东电网内振荡模式及广东电网与外网区域振荡模式进行了研究，并同静态负荷模型结果进行了对比，给广东电网PSS现场试验、运行及励磁参数实测工作提供了依据。
