当代西方新修辞学理论研究——格局与范式

西方修辞学在经历了相对萧条的发展期后,在20世纪初作为一门研究语言和意义的跨学科理论重新崛起。哲学家和文学批评家重新阐释修辞学,以求解决传统有关意义理论所提出来的一系列问题,当代西方修辞学进而在研究范式上呈现出历时性的转型态势。文章首先分析当代西方新修辞学的转型动因,然后重点从结构特征和理论形态两个方面论述其转型态势,试图厘清当代西方新修辞学理论研究格局与范式。

本文关注一种由来已久却很少得到独立研究的修辞格—急收。本文从语用修辞学角度建构了急收的语用修辞规则，认为对于（良构）急收的建构应重视急收的位置，保留其可肯定/否定性特征，认识言者的意向性进而把握省略义与前导语语义的系统性与合理延伸性，区分并研究急收省略的直陈义与听者感受义的关系等问题。本文还提出了急收的翻译模式，强调应以急收译急收，并防止由于翻译而导致原文急收转类或消失的发生。
