设计了由传动系统、牵引装置、捡拾器、喂入机构、成捆室、捆绳机构、液压系统以及卸草器等组成的钢辊外卷式圆捆打捆机,简述了圆捆打捆机的工作原理以及关键部件的结构设计等。对圆捆打捆机的运动参数进行了设计计算,对喂入机构的运动轨迹进行了描述,分析了螺线型成捆室的特点。为检验圆捆打捆机的可靠性和适应性,在不同的作业环境和条件下进行了性能试验和生产考核,结果证明该机结构能够适应各种不同的作业环境。

通过对空间凸轮机构圆锥滚子摆动从动件圆锥凸轮工作过程的分析,指出了常用的平面展开及偏距加工法存在误差。将圆锥滚子摆动从动件圆锥凸轮机构的运动过程进行分解,提出从动件运动轨迹的3-D展开法,并在此基础上提出了一套圆锥滚子摆动从动件圆锥凸轮非等径加工的“仿摆线”加工法,有效地解决了圆锥滚子摆动从动件圆锥凸轮非等径加工的难题。
