超冷原子物理中,如何观测三维物性,如能带结构、三维拓扑相等,是长期来的重大困难。一个基本原因在于,冷原子中的主要观测方案包括利用时间飞行和光照相作探测,凡这类方案只能探测冷原子的二维信息,而第三个方向在拍照中被叠加而无法得知信息。比如,沿着z方向拍照x-y平面探测原子分布,实际测量的结果是将沿z方向排布的所有x-y面累计叠加后的结果,无法对冷原子的三维物性实现准确表征。
