2018年11月22日,英国皇家风景园林学会奖颁奖典礼在伦敦举行,清华大学建筑学院景观学系教授朱育帆携设计作品上海辰山植物园矿坑花园荣获该学会首次设立的杰出国际贡献大奖“西尔维亚·克罗夫人奖(The Dame Sylvia Crowe Award)”。朱育帆应英国皇家风景园林学会首席执行官丹尼尔·库克(Daniel Cook)邀请,参加颁奖典礼并领奖。

韩国科学技术研究院发布消息称,该院通过人工光线型植物工厂,首次开发出在不影响羽衣甘蓝生长的前提下,提高羽衣甘蓝抗癌成分的培育技术。该技术被选定为2018年韩国产业通商资源部国际技术合作项目,并已开始商用化。人工光线型植物工厂是与外部环境隔离的情况下,通过环境调节,培育植物的新型系统。与传统培育方式不同,可以优化植物的生长环境,使植物稳定生长。这种植物工厂系统可大批量生产高品质植物。
