北京时间2019年7月19日，《Science》在线刊登了我校软物质高精尖中心最新研究成果 “Reconfigurable ferromagnetic liquid droplet” ，即可重构的铁磁性液滴，或称液态磁铁。该研究发现一种新型磁性液体，通过控制磁性纳米粒子在水油界面的自组装，最终成功引导铁磁流体从顺磁性转变成铁磁性。通俗来讲，磁铁不再一定是坚硬的固体，也可以是流动的液体。
